Who owns my site once it is designed?
Once the site is designed and paid for you own it. This
includes all pictures and graphics that were provided by
Internet Media. This also includes the design and layout.
This does not include any custom software or programming
done unless otherwise stated in writing by Internet Media
Technologies Inc.
How do I make changes to my web site?
To have changes made to your web site we ask that you
contact us
via email with a detailed description of the changes you
want. If we have additional questions we will contact you
before we make any changes. Once we have a clear and
complete understanding of your request we will make the
modifications.
Will I be billed for changes to my web
site?
Changes made to your web site will be billed at our current
hourly rate of $75.00 per hour. Programming or Flash changes
are billed at a minimum of $125.00 per hour. There is a 1/2
hour minimum for all work performed and we suggest if you
have multiple changes to submit them at the same time. We
will submit a proposal for all modifications that are
estimated to cost over $200.00.
All work that is under $200.00 will be done and billed to
clients account unless client requests otherwise.
How do I get a domain name?
Since it is estimated that at least 95% of all the words in
the dictionary have been taken we suggest that you
contact us
with the name you want. If that name is not available we
will computer generate similar names for you to choose from.
We will not register any name until we receive your
approval.
What is hosting?
Once your web site design is completed it will need to be
hosted on servers so it is viewable on the Internet. Without
hosting your site will not be viewable to other users on the
Internet.
Is email included?
Yes. With Internet Media you have a choice of using a mail
client such as Outlook, Outlook Express etc.. or you can use
our web based email. Some of our clients use both because
you can read your email from any computer with an Internet
connection with web based email, making it great for
traveling. If you need help setting up your email just call
our tech support and we'll be glad to assist you.
How do I transfer my current site to
IMT?
Simply let us know and we'll handle the rest. We will
transfer your site to our server while the site is still up
and running at your current hosting provider. Once we have
the site moved over we will request the DNS records be
changed to point to our servers. This allows your site to me
moved with no downtime.
How do I cancel my hosting?
Client must notify IMT in writing for cancellation of
hosting services. Notice must be received 30 days prior to
cancellation date. It is the responsibility of the Client to
move the site and request the domain name transfer. If the
Client’s account is up to date, the site will remain on IMT
servers until the end of the month. At that time the site
will be removed from IMT servers, which will remove it from
the internet. If necessary, IMT can provide the services
needed to move the site and domain name for our standard
hourly technical fee. A copy of the website may be obtained
within thirty (30) days after cancellation for a fee.
